Wrestling
George: Wrestling with Resistance is a 32 minute Documentary Film that parallels the sport of wrestling with the inner city struggle.  The filmmaker walked away from the editing room after 2 months of post production to mediate on the film, and entered into his studio.  For 3 weeks he collaged 24" x 36" printed stills from the footage to create 'motion montages.'  He then finished the film with this unique approach to filmmaking.  Above are the finished collages.  Please click on the images to see them enlarged.

Van Gogh might not have been that crazy after all ...

Van Gogh - Self Portrait with Bandage
... but his friend Gauguin is nuts. Imagine getting into a fight with your buddy and he pulls out a sword which he then uses to slice your ear off. (Excellent accuracy I might add). I guess the only reasonable reaction is turn to the nearest prostitute and present her with your newly departed body part as a gift. OK, I take back the part about Van Gogh not being that crazy.
