Kayak Across the Pacific Ocean?

Alright, this may be a stretch posting this topic on our "Art" blog but I had to put this up here. I've tagged this article under random, which it is and technology, or maybe lack thereof...
Cornally sent me a link from one of his co-workers this morning looking for directions from an address in Fairfield Connecticut to one in Newtown Connecticut. The above image is the result, a multi-day row-fest through the Pacific Ocean.
There's some really nice things happening here, like once you hit Japan the directions are in Japanese. But my favorite has got to be when Google Maps tells you to "Kayak across the Pacific Ocean." Oh, it should only take 56 days and 7 hours.
Here's a direct link to check it out for yourself: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=425+wormwood+rd+fairfield+ct+06824&daddr=4+Primrose+Street+newtown+ct&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&sll=37.649034,-95.712891&sspn=52.958718,106.787109&ie=UTF8&z=3
